Paul Menconi, Professional Engineer and owner of EES, has a long-standing interest in energy efficiency and resource conservation. After a 25-year career designing electronic systems he left the corporate world and is now using his experience to assist homeowners in reducing their energy usage.

“I believe that efficiency is as important in our homes as it is in business and industry - perhaps even more important, considering how many homes there are. Energy efficiency is built in to new homes in California, thanks to rigorous building codes. But there are 50 or 60 million existing homes in California, using - and wasting - considerable energy. I’m excited to use my knowledge and experience to help others reduce their energy needs while maintaining a comfortable, healthy home.”

Paul Menconi is a CalCERTS certified HERS rater, a member of SLO Green Build and the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET), and has completed the California Building Performance Contractors Association (CBPCA) training program for whole home performance.
